Montréal, October 25, 2007 - At the Forum on Cultural Facilities, the City of Montréal and Quebec’s Ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine unveiled the main lines of ArtExpert.ca’s report entitled, « Assessment of Creation, Production and Performance Facilities for Professional EnglishTheatre ».
Before 50 representatives of English-language theatre organizations and representatives of the Forum des équipements culturels gathered in Montréal today, Louise Poulin, ArtExpert’s president, presented a long-term outlook with respect to capital projects and an assessment of the overall situation.
The ArtExpert report identifies issues and needs based on the general condition of facilities (infrastructure) for creating, producing and presenting English-language theatre on the Island of Montreal over the coming years.
The report was enthusiatically received by the representatives who expressed their satisfaction with the report’s contents.
